Product Specific Information
- For immunohistochemistry (PFA-fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
Anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) belongs to the TGF-β superfamily. It is secreted as a homodimeric 140 kDa disulfide-linked precursor that is cleaved to release the mature 30 kDa homodimer. Originally identified as a fetal testicular hormone that inhibits Müllerian duct development, AMH is expressed postnatally by immature Sertoli cells and, to a lesser extent, by granulosa cells. AMH plays a role in testicular differentiation and regulation of ovarian follicle growth.
