Target Information
RARRES1 유전자는 retinoic acid (RA) receptor-responsive 유전자로 확인되었으며, type 1 막단백질을 암호화합니다. 이 유전자는 tazarotene 및 retinoic acid receptor에 의해 발현이 증가하며, 전립선암에서는 프로모터 및 CpG island의 메틸화에 의해 발현이 감소하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 또한, 상이한 isoform을 암호화하는 alternative splicing 변이체가 보고되었습니다.
