Target Information

Anti-Rat secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for rat immunoglobulins. They are useful in detection, sorting, or purification of their specified targets.
Secondary antibodies offer increased versatility, enabling use with various detection systems such as HRP, AP, or fluorescence. They can also provide greater sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
Typically, secondary antibodies are generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and can be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to produce highly specific reagents.
