Target Information
CD1d는 Beta 2 microglobulin과 결합하는 중쇄 단백질로, 피질 흉선세포에서 발현된다. 인간 장상피세포에서도 Beta 2 microglobulin 독립적 CD1d 발현이 관찰되었다.
CD1d는 MHC 유사 당단백질인 CD1 패밀리의 유일한 그룹 2 구성원으로, 주로 지질 및 당지질 항원을 T 세포에 제시한다.
CD1 패밀리 유전자는 인간 1번 염색체에 군집 형태로 존재하며, 각 구성원은 세포 내 위치 및 특정 지질 리간드에 대한 특이성이 다르다.
CD1d 단백질은 세포질 꼬리의 티로신 기반 모티프를 통해 후기 엔도좀 및 리소좀에 위치한다.
CD1D 관련 질환에는 Mycobacterium Malmoense 감염 및 자가면역 질환이 포함된다.
