Target Information
KIT (c-KIT)은 MGF(mast cell growth factor, stem cell factor) 수용체로 작용하는 type 3 transmembrane receptor이자 proto-oncogene입니다.
KIT은 다양한 조혈 및 비조혈 세포의 성장과 활성화를 조절하며, 돌연변이는 위장관 기질종양(GIST), 비만세포질환, 급성골수성백혈병, piebaldism 등과 관련이 있습니다.
SCF 결합 시 c-Kit은 dimerization 및 자가인산화를 통해 Ras/ERK, PI3K, PLC-γ, JAK/STAT 등의 신호경로를 활성화합니다.
이 경로는 조혈, 줄기세포 유지, 생식세포 형성에 필수적입니다.
