Target Information
The ADI1 gene encodes an enzyme belonging to the aci-reductone dioxygenase family of metal-binding enzymes involved in the methionine salvage pathway. This enzyme may regulate mRNA processing in the nucleus and exhibit different functions depending on its localization. A pseudogene for this gene is located on chromosome 20.
