ETV4 (E1A enhancer binding protein, E1AF, also known as PEA3)
ETV4는 Ets 유전자 계열에 속하며, DNA 상의 특정 서열에 결합하는 전사 인자입니다. 여러 Ets 단백질들은 중앙에 5'-GGAA-3' 엘리먼트를 포함하는 DNA 모티프를 인식합니다. PEA3는 5'-AGGAAG-3' 서열에 결합하지만, PU.1이 인식하는 5'-AGGAAC-3' 서열에는 결합하지 않습니다.
이 단백질은 상피세포 및 섬유아세포 기원 세포에서 발현되며, 조혈세포에서는 발현되지 않습니다. 이는 Ets-1, Ets-2, Fli-1 등 조혈세포에서 주로 발현되는 다른 Ets 계열 단백질과 대조적입니다.
