Target Information
CD40 Ligand (CD40-L), also known as CD154, is a membrane glycoprotein expressed on activated T cells. It plays a crucial role in B cell proliferation, immunoglobulin secretion, and cytokine production. CD40 Ligand also stimulates tumoricidal activity in monocytes and co-stimulates T cell proliferation, leading to the production of IFN-γ, TNF-α, and IL-2.
