For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

The PPIF gene encodes a member of the peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase (PPIase) family.
PPIases catalyze the cis-trans isomerization of proline imidic peptide bonds in oligopeptides, facilitating protein folding.
PPIF is part of the mitochondrial permeability transition pore within the inner mitochondrial membrane, and its activation is associated with apoptotic and necrotic cell death.
