Target Information
The SNX12 gene encodes a member of the sorting nexin family, which contains a phox (PX) domain involved in phosphoinositide binding and intracellular trafficking. Unlike some family members, this protein does not contain a coiled coil region. A similar protein in mouse may regulate neurite outgrowth. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
