Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Centromere and kinetochore proteins are essential for centromere structure, kinetochore formation, and sister chromatid separation.
CENPH colocalizes with inner kinetochore plate proteins CENP-A and CENP-C during interphase and metaphase. It is localized outside centromeric heterochromatin (CENP-B region) and inside the kinetochore corona (CENP-E region) during prometaphase.
CENPH can bind to itself and to CENP-A, CENP-B, or CENP-C. Multimers of this protein localize constitutively to the inner kinetochore plate and play a vital role in the organization and function of the active centromere-kinetochore complex.
