Product Specific Information
- For immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
OCT-2 is a transcription factor belonging to the POU homeo-domain family that binds to immunoglobulin gene octamer sites regulating B cell–specific genes. Although OCT-2 protein expression is not restricted to B cells, expression levels are much higher in these cells. OCT-2 expression is significantly greater in germinal center–derived lymphomas, though other B cell lymphomas also display high expression levels.
