Target Information
This gene encodes a protein that interacts with the carboxy-terminus of transcription initiation factor TFIIF, a transcription factor regulating elongation and initiation by RNA polymerase II. The protein may also form part of an RNA polymerase II holoenzyme complex. Alternative splicing results in two transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
