Product Specific Information

The 30-F11 monoclonal antibody reacts with all isoforms of mouse CD45 (Leukocyte Common Antigen, LCA). CD45 is expressed on all hematopoietic cells except mature erythrocytes and platelets. It has tyrosine phosphatase enzymatic activity and plays a key role in lymphocyte activation.

Applications Tested: Tested on mouse bone marrow cells and splenocytes. Recommended ≤0.125 µg/test (100 µL final volume, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).

Target Information

CD45 (LCA) is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase expressed in all nucleated hematopoietic cells (~10% of lymphocyte surface proteins). It is absent in non-hematopoietic tissues. CD45 regulates Src-family kinases, lymphocyte development, and antigen signaling. Isoforms arise from alternative splicing and differ in extracellular domains. CD45 is essential for T- and B-cell receptor signaling and cytokine regulation, influencing cell survival and immune functions.
