Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is a transcription factor containing C2H2-type zinc-fingers and a positive regulatory domain, found in other zinc-finger transcription factors involved in B cell differentiation and tumor suppression. Mouse studies suggest involvement in CNS development and neuronal storage disease pathogenesis. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been observed.
