Target Information
ADP-ribosylation factors (ARFs)는 RAS 슈퍼패밀리에 속하는 저분자량 GTP 결합 단백질입니다.
ARL3(ADP-ribosylation-like factor)는 182개의 아미노산으로 구성된 단백질로, rat ARL3와 97%, human ARF1과 43%의 아미노산 서열 유사성을 보입니다.
ARL3는 N-myristoylation 부위인 위치 2에 glycine을 가지며, RAS 패밀리의 다른 구성원에서 발견되는 C 말단 근처의 cysteine 잔기가 없습니다.
Northern blot 분석에서 ARL3 전사는 모든 조직에서 검출되었으며, 심장과 폐에서 가장 높은 발현을 보이고, 뇌, 간, 신장, 난소 및 고환에서는 낮은 발현을 보였습니다.
5.5-kb 전사체는 대부분의 조직에서 검출되었으며, 특히 뇌에서 높은 발현을 보였습니다.
Immunoblot 분석에서는 인간 종양 세포주에서 ARL3가 검출되었으나 정상 설치류 세포에서는 검출되지 않았습니다.
ARL3는 GTP에 결합하지만 cholera toxin 의존성 ADP-ribosylation 활성이 없어 ARF-like 단백질로 분류됩니다.
