Target Information
Zinc finger proteins contain DNA-binding domains and have a wide variety of functions, most of which involve transcriptional activation or repression. Most zinc finger proteins include a Kruppel-type DNA binding domain and a KRAB domain, which interacts with KAP1 to recruit histone-modifying proteins.
ZNF329 (zinc finger protein 329) is a member of the Krueppel C2H2-type zinc finger family, consisting of 541 amino acids and twelve C2H2-type zinc fingers, playing a role in DNA-binding and transcriptional regulation.
