Target Information
The GADD45G gene belongs to a group of genes whose transcript levels increase following stressful growth arrest conditions and exposure to DNA-damaging agents. The encoded protein mediates activation of the p38/JNK pathway via MTK1/MEKK4 kinase in response to environmental stresses. GADD45G is highly expressed in the placenta.
