FUCA2 (Alpha-L-fucosidase)는 글리코스핑고리피드와 글리코프로테인 내 말단 alpha-L-fucosidase 결합을 가수분해하는 효소입니다. 인간에서는 최소 2가지의 다형적 alpha-L-fucosidase가 존재하며, FUCA2 유전자는 혈장 및 섬유아세포 내 효소 수준을 조절합니다. 푸코시도시스(fucosidosis)에서는 alpha-L-fucosidase 결핍이 혈장과 백혈구 모두에서 발견됩니다.
