Target Information
Histone H3는 모든 진핵세포의 염색질에서 발견되는 DNA 결합 단백질 중 하나로, 다른 핵심 히스톤 단백질들과 함께 DNA에 결합하여 뉴클레오솜 구조를 형성합니다.
히스톤은 전사 조절, DNA 복구, 복제 및 염색체 안정성 유지에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
H3의 N-말단 꼬리는 다양한 후번역적 변형을 거치며, 이는 크로마틴 구조 변화를 직접 유도하거나 특정 전사 인자의 결합을 가능하게 합니다.
이러한 변형에는 리신 및 아르기닌 잔기에 대한 메틸화 또는 아세틸화, 세린 및 트레오닌 잔기에 대한 인산화 등이 포함됩니다.
