- Reconstitute in 100 µL of sterile water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material.
- The peptide is homologous with the corresponding sequence in rat, mouse, chicken and monkey.
- Specificity of this antibody: Syntaxin-binding protein 1.
Target Information
This gene encodes a syntaxin-binding protein. The encoded protein plays a role in the release of neurotransmitters via regulation of syntaxin, a transmembrane attachment protein receptor.
Mutations in this gene have been associated with infantile epileptic encephalopathy-4.
Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described.
