Target Information
IRF3 (interferon regulatory factor 3)는 type I interferon (IFN)-의존적 면역 반응의 핵심 전사 조절 인자입니다. DNA 및 RNA 바이러스에 대한 선천적 면역 반응에서 중요한 역할을 하며, IFN-alpha, IFN-beta 및 IFN-stimulated genes (ISG)의 전사를 조절합니다.
IRF3는 감염되지 않은 세포의 세포질에서 비활성 상태로 존재하다가 바이러스 감염, 이중가닥 RNA 또는 TLR 신호에 의해 활성화됩니다. IKBKE와 TBK1에 의해 인산화되면 이합체화 및 핵 내 이동이 유도되어 CREB binding protein과 결합하여 dsRNA-activated factor 1 (DRAF1) 복합체를 형성하고, type I IFN 및 ISG 유전자의 전사를 활성화합니다.
IRF3 유전자의 돌연변이는 감염 유발성 급성 뇌병증과 관련이 있습니다.
