Target Information
STAT5 alpha는 STAT 전사인자 패밀리에 속하는 단백질로, 사이토카인과 성장인자 자극에 의해 인산화되어 핵으로 이동하여 전사 활성화에 관여합니다. IL2, IL3, IL7, GM-CSF, erythropoietin, thrombopoietin 등 다양한 리간드에 반응하며, 종양 형성과 관련된 TEL/JAK2 융합 유전자 활성에도 관여합니다. 또한 BCL2L1/BCL-X(L) 발현을 유도하여 항아포토시스 기능을 수행합니다. STAT5 alpha와 STAT5 beta는 96%의 아미노산 서열 유사성을 가지며, 생식, 수유, 면역, 성장 등 다양한 생리 기능에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
