Invitrogen™ LIVE/DEAD™ Viability/Cytotoxicity Assay Kit (Green/Deep Red)
The LIVE/DEAD Viability/Cytotoxicity Assay Kit (Green/Deep Red) is a two-color fluorescent cell viability assay that simultaneously identifies live and dead cells.
Live cells are labeled with Calcein AM dye and emit green fluorescence, while dead cells are labeled with SYTOX™ Deep Red dye and emit red fluorescence. These dyes can be multiplexed with other orange/red fluorophores using compatible filter sets.

작동 원리
- Calcein AM은 살아있는 세포 내 esterase에 의해 형광성 Calcein으로 전환되어 강한 녹색 형광을 발한다 (Ex/Em ≈ 495/515 nm).
- SYTOX Deep Red는 손상된 세포막을 통과하여 DNA에 결합 시 형광이 증가하며 죽은 세포 핵을 밝게 염색한다 (Ex/Em ≈ 660/682 nm).
적용 장비 및 용도
이 키트는 형광 현미경, 고내용 분석(HCA) 멀티웰 플레이트 스캐너 등 다양한 형광 검출 시스템에서 사용 가능하며, 부착 및 부유 세포를 포함한 대부분의 진핵세포에 적용할 수 있습니다.
