Earle`s Balanced Salt Solution (EBSS) is used for a variety of cell culture applications, such as washing cells before dissociation, transporting cells or tissue, diluting cells for counting, and preparing reagents. Gibco™ EBSS is formulated without calcium and magnesium for rinsing chelators from the culture before cell dissociation.

Gibco™ EBSS is manufactured at a cGMP compliant facility, located in Grand Island, New York. The facility is registered with the FDA as a medical device manufacturer and is certified to ISO 13485 standards. For supply chain continuity, we offer an identical Gibco™ EBSS product made in our Scotland facility (14155-048). This facility is registered with the FDA as a medical device manufacturer and is certified to the ISO 13485 standard.

This product is not used for in vitro diagnostic purpose in some countries.
