Target Information
The LTBR protein is a member of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptor family. It is expressed on the surface of most cell types, including epithelial and myeloid lineages, but not on T and B lymphocytes. The protein binds the lymphotoxin membrane form (a complex of lymphotoxin-alpha and lymphotoxin-beta). LTBR and its ligand play roles in lymphoid tissue development and organization, and activation can trigger apoptosis.
