Target Information

HABP2는 히알루론산과 결합하는 세포외 세린 프로테아제로, 세포 부착에 관여합니다. 단일 사슬로 합성된 후 자동 단백질 절단을 거쳐 기능성 이합체로 전환되며, 추가 절단을 통해 비활성 펩타이드로 분해됩니다. 이 효소는 urinary plasminogen activator, coagulation factor VII, fibrinogen의 α 및 β 사슬을 절단하지만, prothrombin이나 plasminogen, fibrinogen의 γ 사슬은 절단하지 않습니다. 두 가지 전사 변이가 보고되어 있으며 각각 다른 isoform을 암호화합니다.
