CD99 (E2, MIC2)는 T 세포의 접착 특성과 프로그램된 세포사멸 조절에 관여하는 막관통 당단백질입니다. CD99의 역할은 corticothymocytes와 같은 특정 T 세포 분화 단계에서 특이적으로 나타나며, CD99R isoform은 T, NK, myeloid 세포 등 조혈계에서 제한적으로 발현됩니다.
