Target Information
STAG2는 cohesin complex의 구성 요소로, DNA 복제 후 자매 염색분체의 결합에 필수적입니다.
이 복합체는 자매 염색분체를 포획할 수 있는 단백질 고리 구조를 형성하며, 세포 분열 시기(anaphase)에 절단되어 염색체 분리를 가능하게 합니다.
또한 STAG2는 유사분열 중 방추극(spindle pole) 형성에도 관여할 수 있습니다.
