Target Information
RPRD1B는 RNA polymerase II의 가장 큰 서브유닛인 POLR2A의 인산화된 C-말단 반복 도메인(CTD)과 상호작용하며, RPAP2에 의해 CTD 탈인산화 과정에 관여합니다.
이 단백질은 전사 조절자로서 CCND1 발현을 증가시키며, RNA polymerase II가 CCND1 프로모터와 poly-A 부근의 종료 영역에 결합하도록 촉진합니다.
또한 세포 주기 관련 유전자들(CDK2, CDK4, CDK6, cyclin-E)의 전사를 강화하지만 CDKN1A, CDKN1B, cyclin-A에는 영향을 주지 않습니다.
세포 증식을 촉진하는 역할을 합니다.
