Target Information
IdU (Idoxuridine)는 디옥시유리딘의 변형된 형태인 뉴클레오사이드 유사체로, 바이러스 DNA 복제에 통합될 만큼 유사하지만 요오드가 첨가된 우라실 부분이 염기쌍 형성을 차단합니다. 심장 독성으로 인해 국소적으로만 사용되며, 1950년대 후반 William Prusoff에 의해 합성되었습니다.
