Background
Purinergic receptor P2Y2(P2RY2)는 P2 수용체 계열에 속하며, 세포 외 뉴클레오타이드에 의해 활성화됩니다. P2 수용체는 P2X 리간드 개폐 이온 통로와 P2Y G-단백질 결합 수용체로 구분되며, 여러 아데노신 및 유리딘 뉴클레오타이드에 대한 약리학적 선택성이 다소 중첩됩니다.
이 수용체는 다양한 세포 유형에서 발견되며, ATP와 UTP에 의해 활성화되고 일부 암세포에서 과발현되는 것으로 보고되었습니다. 세포 증식, 세포사멸, 염증 등 다양한 세포 기능에 관여합니다. 세 가지 전사 변이체가 동일한 단백질을 암호화하는 것으로 확인되었습니다.
