The Mouse SYB16 (CXCL16) ProcartaPlex™ Simplex Kit measures SYB16 (CXCL16) protein and can be combined with other Simplex kits to create a custom multiplex panel utilizing Luminex xMAP technology for protein detection and quantitation.
When combining multiple Simplex kits, only one buffer kit (sold separately) is required per assay plate regardless of plex size.

ProcartaPlex immunoassays are based on the principles of a sandwich ELISA, using two highly specific antibodies binding to different epitopes of one protein. They enable quantitation of up to 80 protein targets simultaneously using the FLEXMAP 3D or Luminex 200 instrument, and up to 50 targets using the MAGPIX instrument.
Assays require as little as 25 μL of plasma or serum, or 50 μL of cell culture supernatant, and results are obtained in approximately four hours.

기술 설명

ProcartaPlex assays use Luminex MagPlex superparamagnetic microsphere beads internally dyed with specific proportions of red and infrared fluorophores to create 100 unique spectral signatures identifiable by Luminex xMAP systems (Luminex 200, FLEXMAP 3D, MAGPIX).
Matched antibody pairs identify target proteins, and detection is achieved using biotinylated antibodies and streptavidin–R-phycoerythrin (RPE).
Unlike traditional ELISA, the capture antibody is conjugated to a magnetic bead rather than adsorbed to a microplate, allowing free-floating reagents and higher multiplexing efficiency.

ProcartaPlex multiplex assays can profile up to 80 protein targets using significantly less sample volume and time compared to conventional ELISA.
