Product Specific Information
- Reconstitute in 100 µL of sterile water.

Target Information
TRPM8 is a receptor-activated non-selective cation channel involved in detection of cool sensations, activated by cold temperatures below 25°C, as well as by icilin, eucalyptol, menthol, and modulation of intracellular pH.
It is permeable to monovalent cations (sodium, potassium, cesium) and divalent calcium ions.
TRPM8 expression is primarily restricted to prostate epithelial cells, with moderate mRNA expression in normal prostate tissue and elevated levels in prostate cancer.
TRPM8 mRNA has also been detected in nonprostatic tumors of breast, colon, lung, and skin origin, while being minimally expressed or absent in corresponding normal tissues.
