- In direct ELISAs, no cross-reactivity with recombinant human FABP2, -3, -4, -5, -6, -7, or recombinant mouse FABP9 is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.5 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
FABP1 encodes the fatty acid binding protein found in the liver. Fatty acid binding proteins are a family of small, highly conserved, cytoplasmic proteins that bind long-chain fatty acids and other hydrophobic ligands.
FABP1 and FABP6 (the ileal fatty acid binding protein) also bind bile acids. FABPs are thought to play roles in fatty acid uptake, transport, and metabolism.
