Target Information
FLT3 (Fms-like tyrosine kinase 3) is a receptor tyrosine kinase that belongs to the growth factor receptor family. Activation occurs through ligand binding, inducing receptor dimerization and autophosphorylation. This process triggers downstream signaling pathways involved in apoptosis, proliferation, and differentiation of hematopoietic cells in bone marrow. Constitutive activation mutations are associated with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).
