Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, an additional desalting step is recommended (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Factor I, a serine protease, is a regulatory component of both the alternative and classical complement pathways.
It is synthesized as a single-chain precursor (88 kDa) and processed into an active form composed of two disulfide-linked chains:
- α-chain (50 kDa)
- β-chain (38 kDa)
Plasma concentration: 35 µg/mL.
