Target Information
Bromodeoxyuridine (5-bromo-2-deoxyuridine, BrdU)는 티미딘(thymidine)의 유사체인 합성 뉴클레오시드로, 세포 내 DNA 복제 시기에 새로 합성되는 DNA에 포함될 수 있습니다. BrdU는 세포 증식 연구에서 널리 사용되며, BrdU 특이 항체를 이용해 DNA에 삽입된 BrdU를 검출함으로써 DNA를 복제 중인 세포를 식별할 수 있습니다. 항체 결합을 위해서는 일반적으로 산 또는 열을 이용한 DNA 변성 과정이 필요합니다.
