• Reconstitute antibody with 50 µL of double distilled water (DDW).
• Store reconstituted solution at 4°C for up to 1 week.
• For longer storage, aliquot and store at -20°C.
• Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
• Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

Glutamate receptors are the predominant excitatory neurotransmitter receptors in the mammalian brain, activated in various normal neurophysiologic processes. These receptors are heteromeric protein complexes forming ligand-gated ion channels. Classification is based on activation by different pharmacologic agonists.
The subunit encoded by this gene belongs to the AMPA (alpha-amino-3-hydroxy-5-methyl-4-isoxazole propionate)-sensitive glutamate receptor family and undergoes RNA editing (AGA→GGA; R→G). Alternative splicing results in isoforms with differing signal transduction properties.
