Target Information
The CHD4 gene encodes a member of the SNF2/RAD54 helicase family and is a key component of the nucleosome remodeling and deacetylase (NuRD) complex. It plays a critical role in epigenetic transcriptional repression. Autoantibodies against CHD4 are found in patients with dermatomyositis.
