Target Information
CD56 (NCAM, neural cell adhesion molecule)은 면역글로불린 패밀리에 속하는 막관통 당단백질로, 신경계에서 폭넓게 발현되며 120–180 kDa 범위의 여러 아이소폼으로 존재합니다.
CD56은 T 세포와 NK 세포에서도 발견되며, 세포 이동, 축삭 성장, 경로 탐색 및 시냅스 가소성에 관여합니다.
Polysialic 수정은 CD56 매개 세포 접착을 감소시킵니다.
CD56은 laminin 및 integrin과 같은 세포외 기질 성분과 결합하여 동종 및 이종 상호작용을 매개합니다.
신경외배엽 유래 세포주, 조직 및 종양(예: 망막모세포종, 수모세포종, 성상세포종, 신경모세포종)에 널리 발현됩니다.
또한 CD56은 신경내분비 종양 및 난소 granulosa 세포 종양에 대한 높은 민감도의 신경내분비 마커로 사용됩니다.
CD56 기능 이상과 관련된 질환으로는 광견병 및 blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasms가 있습니다.
