Product Specific Information
This antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
The PMM2 gene encodes a protein that catalyzes the isomerization of mannose 6-phosphate to mannose 1-phosphate, a precursor to GDP-mannose necessary for the synthesis of dolichol-P-oligosaccharides. Mutations in this gene cause defects in glycoprotein biosynthesis, leading to carbohydrate-deficient glycoprotein syndrome type I.
