Target Information
HTR3E는 리간드 개폐 이온 채널 수용체 초가족에 속하며, 5-하이드록시트립타민(세로토닌) 수용체의 E 서브유닛을 인코딩합니다. 세로토닌은 신경전달물질, 호르몬, 그리고 세포분열 촉진인자로 작용합니다. 이 수용체는 활성화 후 뉴런에서 빠른 탈분극 반응을 유도합니다. C, D, E 서브유닛을 인코딩하는 유전자는 염색체 3에 클러스터로 존재하며, 대체 스플라이스 변이가 보고되었으나 완전한 서열은 규명되지 않았습니다.
