Target Information
SNX29, also known as RUNDC2A, is a 375-amino acid protein containing one RUN domain. The RUNDC2A gene maps to human chromosome 16p13.13, which encodes over 900 genes and comprises nearly 3% of the human genome. Mutations in genes located on chromosome 16, such as GAN, may lead to giant axonal neuropathy, a nervous system disorder. Other disorders associated with chromosome 16 include Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome and Crohn’s disease.
