Alivin 1 (ali1)는 신경세포 생존을 촉진하는 활동 의존적 유전자입니다. Rat, mouse, human Ali1 단백질은 7개의 leucine-rich repeats, 1개의 IgC2-like loop, 그리고 transmembrane domain을 포함하며 Kek 및 Trk 계열과 유사성을 보입니다. Ali1 발현은 granule neuron의 탈분극 의존적 생존을 촉진합니다. Mouse ali1은 chromosome 15의 55.3 cM 위치에 있으며, 이는 인간 chromosome 12의 Alzheimer’s disease type 5 및 Parkinson’s disease 8 관련 locus와 syntenic 관계를 가집니다.
