Product Specific Information
GAU 017-01B-01 detects Complement component C3a/C3a (desArg) in human samples.
It has been successfully used in ELISA procedures.
This antibody detects an epitope present on human C3, C3a, and C3a (desArg), but does not cross-react with C4a or C5a.
Concentration is lot-dependent and can vary from 0.85–1.15 mg/mL.
Target Information
Complement component C3 plays a central role in activation of the complement system.
Its activation is required for both classical and alternative complement activation pathways.
People with C3 deficiency are susceptible to bacterial infection.
