Target Information
The ASB13 gene encodes a member of the ankyrin repeat and SOCS box-containing family of proteins. These proteins possess ankyrin repeat sequences and a SOCS box domain, which couples suppressor of cytokine signaling proteins and their binding partners with the elongin B and C complex, potentially targeting them for degradation. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been reported, though their full-length sequences are not fully characterized.
