Target Information
Anti-Bovine secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for bovine (cow, ox) immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of bovine IgG.
Secondary antibodies provide versatility for various detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and enhance sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
Typically, secondary antibodies are generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to achieve high specificity.
