DHRSX (dehydrogenase/reductase SDR family member on chromosome X)는 330개의 아미노산으로 구성된 단백질로, short-chain dehydrogenases/reductases (SDR) 계열에 속합니다. DHRSX는 광범위하게 발현되며, 산화환원효소로서 코엔자임 결합 부위와 기질 결합 부위를 포함하고 있어 세포 대사 과정에 관여할 가능성이 있습니다. DHRSX 유전자는 X 및 Y 염색체의 pseudoautosomal region 1 (PAR1)에 위치하며, X 염색체는 약 1,000개의 유전자를 포함하고 있습니다.
