Target Information
CD40 항원은 종양괴사인자(TNF)/신경성장인자(NGF) 수퍼패밀리의 단일 사슬 당단백질로, Hodgkin 병 관련 항원인 CD30과 높은 상동성을 가집니다.
CD40은 모든 B 세포(형질세포 제외), 일부 상피세포, 암세포, 림프성 수지상세포에서 발현됩니다.
CD40은 T 세포 의존성 면역글로불린 클래스 전환, 메모리 B 세포 발달, 생식 중심 형성 등 다양한 면역 및 염증 반응에 필수적입니다.
AT-hook 전사인자 AKNA는 CD40 발현을 조절하며, TNFR2 단백질은 CD40과 상호작용하여 신호전달을 매개합니다.
CD40과 그 리간드의 상호작용은 알츠하이머병 초기 병태생리 과정에서 미세아교세포 활성화를 유도하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
CD40 유전자는 두 가지 대체 스플라이싱 변형체를 가지며, Type 3 Hyper-Igm 면역결핍증 및 CD40 리간드 결핍증과 관련이 있습니다.
